Alesis Recital piano review

Many users have given their opinions on the Alesis Recital piano, much to our delight! This allows us to learn more about this model.

The first positive remark about this model concerns its great ease of use. Indeed, this Alesis Recital offers simple and effective functions, keeping everything essential for practice without focusing on frills. Other users praise the instrument for its soft, round and pleasant sound. A very important characteristic making this Alesis Recital piano truly enjoyable to use. We can also note comments admiring the device’s adjustable semi-weighted action. An excellent idea that we don’t often see on a digital piano and that the Korg LP-180 and Korg C1 Air also offer. For perfectly configuring your keyboard, it’s really ideal.

But what about negative remarks then? Well, some users will criticize the Alesis Recital piano for its limited selection of available instrument voices. You’ll indeed only have 5, but most people buy a digital piano to play piano, so other sounds aren’t especially essential. Anyway, this model generally has few features of this type. It indeed prefers to go straight to the essentials!

Alesis Recital piano test

I’m pleasantly surprised by the Alesis Recital piano which doesn’t lack ideas and creativity. With such an instrument, you’ll have everything you need to learn piano.

It’s quite impressive that it offers so many advantages at such a low price. The instrument’s sound quality is frankly more than adequate – I wasn’t expecting that! But its advantage I prefer most is by far the fact that you can configure the keyboard’s responsiveness to your liking. What a great idea to offer such functionality! I also tip my hat to the included Skoove Premium application and the famous lesson mode that allows dividing the keyboard into two parts so one person can teach another. All these elements consequently make the Alesis Recital piano an excellent educational tool.

Too bad though that it doesn’t include a sustain pedal or piano stand. Well, for the stand, maybe… For the pedal, I’ll never understand! At least offer it as an option! Obviously, if you don’t have one at home, I strongly advise you to get one here. Otherwise, I really don’t have much to fault this keyboard for. It remains primarily dedicated to beginners, but I think a somewhat more experienced pianist could also have fun with it, even though I’d rather advise them to move up to the Alesis Recital Pro or the Donner DEP-10.

The Alesis Recital piano has evolved well from its base version the Alesis Melody 61 and now offers solid arguments allowing many pianists to find their place with it.

It indeed offers basic, simple and useful functions without wasting time on unnecessary details. We’re not here to have thousands of sounds and options, no; we’re here to learn to play piano on a digital piano! And this keyboard has understood that well and does it perfectly. It will also make others envious with its more than adequate sound quality and effective semi-weighted action. Equipped with connectivity allowing computer connection and an educational application, it will therefore constitute an excellent choice for learning or composition… All with value for money that won’t be easy to match.

In summary, the Alesis Recital promises its buyer the moon and stars. Are you ready to embark aboard it toward your new artistic adventure?
